Membership Agreement

Effective Date: January 1st, 2025

Welcome to the Young Founders Forum (YFF). As a community of ambitious entrepreneurs and innovators, we aim to foster meaningful connections, facilitate knowledge-sharing, and create an environment of mutual growth. By joining YFF, you agree to abide by the following principles and commitments:

1. No Selling to Members

YFF is a space for networking, collaboration, and support—not a marketplace. Members are not permitted to directly sell, pitch, or solicit business from other members. Any attempt to use YFF solely as a lead-generation tool or to push products/services is prohibited. Instead, focus on building genuine relationships that may lead to organic opportunities.

2. Give and Take Relationship

YFF is built on a culture of reciprocity. While networking and career opportunities may arise, joining YFF solely for personal gain—such as seeking jobs, funding, or business deals—without actively contributing to the community is against our values. Members are expected to provide insights, resources, and support to others, ensuring a balanced exchange of value within the group.

3. Be Active and Show Up

Engagement is key to a thriving community. Members are expected to actively participate in discussions, attend meetings, and contribute to the group’s activities. Consistently failing to engage or being inactive for extended periods without prior communication may result in reconsideration of membership.

4. Confidentiality & Trust

To maintain a secure and open environment, members must respect the confidentiality of discussions within YFF. Any sensitive information shared in conversations, meetings, or forums must remain within the group. Sharing another member’s private or business-related information without explicit consent is strictly prohibited. More on this in our Confidentiality Agreement.

5. Professionalism & Integrity

All interactions within YFF should reflect professionalism, mutual respect, and integrity. Discriminatory, harassing, or unethical behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the group.

6. Compliance & Enforcement

Failure to comply with this agreement may lead to warnings, suspension, or permanent removal from YFF at the discretion of the leadership team. Additionally, YFF reserves the right to deny membership applications or remove existing members at any time, for any reason, at our sole discretion. Participation in YFF is a privilege, not a right, and continued involvement is contingent upon adherence to the group’s principles and values.
